RIP Lappy …

Of course I am a slacker blogger again. My laptop is about 5 years old and had recently hit it’s max. I’ve run out of virtual memory and my lappy is sure to remind me about every 5 minutes by giving me a pop-up.

Because of this, I cannot upload my camera and for some reason the lack of new pictures makes me feel like I can’t blog. But obviously I CAN blog with out pictures … so here we go.

We’re faced with a few options regarding my lappy. We could buy a new one of course. But I’ve always said that the next computer I get will be a MAC. We don’t really have any extra money to buy a new laptop right now, let alone an MAC. So basically that option is out.

We could buy (and really should buy) an external hard drive and then I can store my photos and music on that. Which, lets be honest, that’s pretty much 90% of what is stored in my memory.

And finally we can take the lappy in to PC Laptops (ew, I hate that guy) and have them run their free diagnostic on my lappy and see what we need to do to get it running in a more timely fashion. I mean, I can’t even scroll down internet pages with out the thing freezing every few minutes.

So I think we’re going to do the diagnostic at PC Laptops and see what they say. At that point, our next option will probably be the external hard drive. Until then … I’m wishing on every star that Santa brings me a MAC for Christmas this year. 🙂
