Cruisin’ to Alaska …

September 20, 2009 waterswife

Back in August, Tyson and I took a cruise with my family to Alaska. I am FINALLY getting around to blogging about it!

It was a long, tiring day getting to the ship. We left Salt Lake early in the morning and flew to Seattle. From there we had to go to tons of security and finally we were allowed on ship.

The sunset was beautiful as we pulled out of port.

After dinner we explored the ship. This is my third cruise and it never ceases to amaze me that it is an entire city floating on the sea.

Here is Tyson checking out the electricity ball thing in the casino.

We loved sitting on the lounge chairs and watch as we pulled out of the ports.
The on-board entertainment was really awesome.

Of course cruises are known for the amazing food.

Our assistant waitress, Luche and waitress, Josephine. LOVED THEM!

Each day as we came back to our room to sleep, our room attendant had made different animals out of our towels.

I loved the beautiful sunsets. It’s hard to not take pictures of every single one!

A few days before we left for the trip, Tyson and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been two years already! This cruise was the perfect way to celebrate our life together.
