4th of July …

August 2, 2009 waterswife

We were really fortunate on the 4th of July this year. Tyson’s dad was able to get us tickets to Stadium of Fire. Even though that is enemy territory, I decided it was worth it to take my chances and go to the cougar stadium anyway. 🙂

(Here we are waiting for the show to start)

(It was SO loud when the jets flew over, but it was really awesome!)

(Here are some helicopters that flew over also)

Glenn Beck, SheDaisy, and The Jonas Brothers were our entertainment. They all preformed pretty well.

But of course, Tyson and I were there for the fireworks!

(We thought these smoke clouds looked like jellyfish!)

(They stopped the fireworks show to retire a huge flag that they’ve used at Stadium of Fire for several years. It was later in the news that they actually didn’t burn it that night. Welcome to Utah, THAT made the news lol)

(just messing around with the contrast feature on my cell phone)

(And back to the fireworks)

(It was SO smokey after the fireworks were done. But we had the best time and were so glad we were able to go!)

I love Glenn Beck!!! It'd be so much fun to see fireworks in that kind of setting, though I see parking being a nightmare.Welcome back!
